Reflection

What I understand about ER	ER is the process when we read some books or long texts in our comfortable zone. In ER one important point that preferred is fluency not comprehension, if readers found an unfamiliar words, they must ignored it. Then, in ER readers are not required to get detailed meaning from the text, they only have to get the general meaning from the text. Readers also have to make a connection with the story they read. Readers should be given the appropriate text with their language skills. Text which is too difficult for the readers will cause them focus on what the meaning of the text is and content so the information that could have caught by them can not be absorbed at all. Therefore in extensive reading, the readers should read the material, books or texts that is accordance with their capabilities that are expected to motivate them to read.
What I want to do in this courseh	I want to read books which is will motivate myself in reading such as comic. Besides, I want to know more about how the best way to enjoy reading more and more. Then I want to find out my comfortable zone in reading through extensive reading.
What I want to improve	What I want to improve are : -Fluency -Motivation into reading -Vocabulary -Knowledge -Comprehension
What I feel	Now I know what my problem is when I read which is make my interest in reading always decrease in each process. The first is the choice of readings that do not accordance with my own interests. Besides,whenever I found a difficult word I always stop reading directly to find the meaning of the word in the dictionary that make me have to keep repeating the readings from the beginning after finding the meaning of the word, and it takes time, it's really wasting time.
What I am curious to know	I curious to know how extensive reading works. Will it increase my motivation in reading? Will it help me to improve the fluency?, and sp forth.
