Gutawa was born Aluna Sagita Gutawa – Aluna
Sagita meaning "song rhythm" – in Jakarta, Indonesia on 11 August 1993 to Erwin Gutawa, a composer, and Luthfi Andriani. The first child
of the couple, she enjoyed watching her father work on his compositions. As a
result, he enrolled her in a classical piano course, later sending her to a vocal
course to develop her soprano voice. She received full support
from her father, who assisted her as an adviser. In Chrisye's 2003 Dekade Concert, Gutawa performed in public
for the first time, after Chrisye – who often collaborated with her
father – invited her on stage. She later described him as her idol.

Isyana was born and raised in Bandung on May 2nd,
1993. She is the youngest daughter of Luana Marpanda, a music teacher, and
Sapta Dwikardana, a teacher and therapist. She has an older sister, Rara
Sekar Larasati, who is a vocalist of a band called Banda Neira. Raised in a
family of educators, Isyana was introduced to music at the age of 4 by her
mother. Since then, her musical skill continues to expand. Isyana has
mastered a number of instruments, including piano, electone, flute, violin,
and saxophone. Her talent and vocal abilities stand out from a very early
age. In September 26, 2015, Isyana officially graduated from NAFA with
"Bachelor of Music" (B.Mus) title and received the Best Graduate
Award & Embassy of Peru Award.

Yui Aragaki was born in
Naha-shi, Okinawa on June 11, 1988 and has two older sisters. After seeing an
audition notice for the junior fashion magazine Nicola (ニコラ Nikora), she applied for
it and won the Grand Prix award for the audition. In 2001, at the age of 13,
she began her Nicola modelling career and was very well received as a Nicola
model, having set a record for appearing on cover for 15 times.[3] A fellow
Nicola model Ayako Enomoto gave her the popular nickname "Gakky."
At the age of 15, Aragaki moved to Tokyo and enrolled in Horikoshi High
School, a private high school popular for being attended by many Japanese
celebrities. In 2004, she decided to put her Nicola career on hold and expand
her career path into gravure and acting, and she also appeared in variety
shows and commercials, with her Pocky commercials being the most popular.[4]
A year later, she officially graduated from Nicola. Even so, she still
appears in the magazine occasionally.
